Welcome to 19svara! I am Piyush Vaghela and this blog is my try to promote the one of the most beautiful thing in the world, that’s Music! …Indian as well as Western through a blog on the music of both of the world.

So what’s 19svara anyway? The word “Svara” collectively represents 7 basic svaras/notes of Indian music ( Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, and Ni) but here in 19svara, the word even represents the 12 basic notes of western music (C, C-sharp/D-flat, D, D-sharp/E-flat, E, F, F-sharp/G-flat, G, G-sharp/A-flat, A, A-sharp/B-flat, and B) ..and both of the music have been integral part of my life. …so it’s 19svara!!

Music is a powerful and universal force that brings a lot of good to individuals and society. It has the ability to bring joy, provide comfort, enhance learning, and bring people closer together. In this blog, I am going to share my thoughts on how one can develop a taste for Indian and Western music, and other lots of information on music that I know and come across.

While music is the main focus of this blog, I will also address various matters worth publishing.
